PUMPKIN BREAD

This is my boys’ favorite fall treat. Griff loves a small slice for breakfast and, to get some protein in him, I like to add some peanut butter on top. Yep. Pumpkin + peanut butter. Heavenly!

Ready to make your own? STOP right there and go grab your ruler. I’m serious. Your loaf pans may show their dimensions, but if not, you need to measure the opening at the top and proceed accordingly. They may not sound much different, but a 9″ x 5″ loaf pan can hold almost TWICE the volume of an 8″ x 4″!

If your pans are on the smaller side (approx. 8″ x 4″) you’ll be able to fill three pans. If your pans are larger (approx. 9″ x 5″) you’ll probably only fill two and you’ll need to cook them a bit longer.

Make one loaf for your family and one to share with friends! Use Halloween cookie cutters to make fun shapes for your kiddos or to serve at your Halloween party!
